The Commercial Section provides assistance to UK companies looking to trade or invest in Thailand and Laos and advice to businesses looking to invest in the UK.

The Consular Section provides assistance to British nationals living and travelling in Thailand and Laos, including passport services, birth and death registration and notarial services.

The Visa Section assesses visa applications from non-UK nationals wishing to enter to the UK to study, visit, live or work.

The Communication Team co-ordinates media handling and public diplomacy for the embassy. It is responsible for the communication and promotion of UK Government policy in Thailand.

The Political Section manages the bilateral relationship between the UK and Royal Thai Governments and produces reporting and analysis on political and economic issues. It also manages human rights, climate change and counter-terrorism projects in support of the FCO's policy priorities.

The Management Section is responsible for administrative work and personnel issues for all sections of the embassy.
