Bangkok 2010 – the 25th Asian International Stamp Exhibition

The 25th Asian International Stamp Exhibition will be held under the concept of ASEAN culture.

The highlight of this event will be a stamp series in Honor of His Majesty the King and her Majesty the Queen for the 60th Anniversary Celebration of Their Majesties marriage. In addition, H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, our patron princess of philately, will preside over the official opening in an effort to promote the philatelic platform. A stamps contest will be launched, with more than 1,000 entries expected in the competition.

The fair atmosphere will be created under the concept - “The World of Imagination on Postage Stamps”, set to show off perfect combination between colorful character of those fantasy stamps and the unique of Asia. The stamps will be able to tell the story of Asia, quite properly regarding to their ways of living, beliefs and cultures of the East.

The fair has been divided into three major zones. which are: Exhibition Zone, featuring the exhibition to celebrate HM The King's 60th Accession to the Throne, the exhibition of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's personal collections, and 'Amazing Color of the Eastern World' demonstration
